Dating Games

Last Thursday, I experienced The Dating Games.  It is a group of single women discussing dating, and it was absolutely the best time.  If you stop and think about it, you would assume that it would be a group of negative, bitter individuals, but that was not the case at all.  There were multiple times when I said to the group that my jaw was literally hurting because I was laughing that much. This first meeting was only supposed to go for two hours, but after three hours, we felt like it was time to say goodbye, until the next meeting.  I will be at the next meeting!

If you are single like me, take yourself out of your comfort zone and try something new.  I highly suggest checking out the MeetUp Application and find a group that resonates for you.  Believe me, there are a lot of groups. More groups if you live in an area with a larger population.  

Another application that I find to be super interesting and one that was shared at this meeting was Stud or Dud.  Now, I am an android person and I tried to locate the app in the Play Store with no success, so I am guessing it is only for Apple products.  Why am I suggesting this application? Well, because it allows you to put some information about a potential date in it and it shares any criminal history for that person with you.  That may keep you safe! You might as well utilize it if you can. If I could use it, I totally would. When this app was shared, the individual showed the criminal history. She had planned to go out with this person, until she saw his history.  Now, I get that we shouldn’t judge people, but when it comes to safety, you can’t take risks like that, and you are able to decide if you are okay with some of the charges and not okay with others.

The amazing part about this group is that it consists of all age ranges.  And even with that dynamic, we all got along super well. Even though there was such a difference, we all came together with our similarity and really seemed to connect.  It also seemed like everyone really had a good time, and it seems like most of these individuals will be going to the next event. I am super excited that I found this group, and I hope it goes well going forward.  Of course, I will keep you updated on how it all goes.
